Offering Customized Help for Professionals

Our Philly & Boston
Intensive Outpatient Programs

Providence Treatment understands the challenges that working professionals face when seeking intensive treatment for addiction while balancing their professional responsibilities. That’s why we offer an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) specifically tailored to meet the needs of individuals returning to work on a part-time basis. Our IOP provides comprehensive and intensive treatment while accommodating the busy schedules of working professionals.

One of the key features of our Boston IOP is the availability of evening hours, allowing individuals to attend therapy sessions and participate in treatment activities after their workday has ended. This flexibility enables clients to continue their employment while still receiving the intensive support and care they need to address their addiction and maintain their recovery.

By offering evening hours, Providence Treatment empowers working professionals to prioritize their health and well-being without compromising their professional responsibilities. Whether they work full-time or part-time, our IOP allows clients to receive intensive treatment during hours that are convenient for them, minimizing disruption to their work schedules and enabling them to maintain their financial stability while focusing on their recovery.

Our evening IOP sessions are designed to be comprehensive and intensive, providing clients with the therapeutic support, educational resources, and skill-building activities necessary for sustained sobriety. Led by experienced clinicians and addiction specialists, our evening sessions cover a range of topics and therapeutic modalities tailored to the unique needs of working professionals.

At our drug rehab for professionals, we understand that every individual’s journey to recovery is unique, and we are committed to providing personalized care and support every step of the way. Why IOP Works For
Professionals and Executives

As professionals and high-level executives, Providence clients face unique challenges that include license suspension, legal restrictions, or even termination. In some cases, program participants are unable to take a lengthy leave of absence due to family and financial responsibilities, making outpatient treatment an attractive, accommodating option. The Providence Professionals Program is designed with the high-profile population in mind. With the utmost care and discretion, our team interfaces with licensing boards, reports your progress to employers, makes recommendations for occupational re-entry, and also assists with reintegration. If necessary, we offer professional laboratory monitoring services for randomized drug testing and can integrate this into any treatment plan for added convenience. For professionals seeking extra support for developing healthy workplace practices, our partnership with Praxis Center for Professional Development serves as a valuable resource that can enrich your recovery journey.

Woven into all aspects of programming is our dedication to supporting professionals’ wellbeing. Our career management services can help you smoothly transition back into the workforce and effectively balance the pressures and responsibilities of your job with prioritizing your recovery. Our team has helped countless individuals navigate this balance, including physicians, nurses, pilots, lawyers, and business professionals.

From PHP to IOP in Recovery

The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is often utilized as a step-down treatment option following completion of a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) at Providence Treatment. PHP typically provides the highest level of care outside of inpatient treatment, offering structured therapy sessions, medical monitoring, and intensive support throughout the day.

As clients progress in their recovery journey and demonstrate stability and readiness for a less intensive level of care, transitioning to an IOP can be a beneficial step. The IOP offers a more flexible schedule compared to PHP, allowing individuals to gradually reintegrate into their daily lives while still receiving comprehensive support and treatment.

During the transition from PHP to IOP, clients continue to participate in therapy sessions and receive therapeutic interventions, but with reduced frequency and intensity. The focus shifts towards consolidating the skills and strategies learned in PHP, practicing relapse prevention techniques, and addressing ongoing challenges in a less structured environment.

IOP sessions typically occur several times per week, often in the evenings or on weekends, to accommodate clients’ work or school schedules. This allows individuals to maintain their employment or educational commitments while still prioritizing their recovery.

Our IOP serves as a valuable bridge between the structured environment of PHP and the greater independence of outpatient treatment. Clients continue to benefit from group therapy, individual counseling, and peer support, while also gradually transitioning to applying their skills in real-world settings.

Our IOP is an important step-down option after PHP, providing clients with the ongoing support and guidance they need as they transition back to their regular routines and work towards long-term sobriety and wellness.
