Providence Treatment is committed to providing quality behavioral healthcare and addiction recovery support to its clients. We are equally concerned about the COVID-19/ novel coronavirus outbreak in this country, and are remaining updated daily regarding the health and welfare of all our clients and staff. We have been monitoring the daily reports from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO) and the local county and state Departments of Public Health.
As you can imagine, these times can be an emotional struggle for many people. The imperative for social distancing, should not be an opportunity to socially isolate from others including: sponsors, sober supports, online meetings and professional treatment support.
As of today, March 16, 2020, Providence has decided to remain operational. We see ourselves as a necessary service for our clients and will remain a community resource, in our 3 locations, for those managing recovery from mental health and substance use disorders. However, there are some temporary changes in the way we may provide care, depending on the needs of our clients and the current public health concerns.
Here are some key points to update you regarding our services:
- Providence is committed to daily disinfecting all office surfaces, doorknobs, faucets and other fixtures. Hand sanitizers are available at each location.
- Providence will expect all clients and staff to continue with regular hand washing, covering mouth and nose when sneezing, no physical contact while at the offices and report any symptoms of illness to your medical healthcare provider as soon as possible.
- Please stay home if you are sick. If your medical care provider has advised you to stay home, then please remain home until you are cleared by them to return to treatment.
- We have received approval from the isurers to provide HIPAA compliant video tele-conferencing option for clients who may need to receive services in a secure, confidential setting at home.
- All monitoring services (Breathalyzer, urine and blood collection) remain active, even if you decide to distance yourself from in-person treatment at the offices.
